The rules define the general conditions of access and use of bus stations located in Savoie in order to guarantee the best service to users and to ensure their safety and peace of mind.
Any activity contrary to the laws and regulations in force, as well as to public tranquility and health is prohibited, namely:
All the bus stations in Savoie are equipped with access control, and only vehicles with a badge can access it 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.
Any new carrier wishing to access bus stations should contact Trans Fer Route Savoie to retrieve the transit request form as well as the procedures for issuing badges.
For occasional Services, an email request (grchambery@orange.fr) must be made to the station manager within 72 hours.
The operator of the bus stations reserves the right to refuse access to buses in the event of site saturation.
The carrier’s civil liability is incurred in the event of damage to property or to a person as a result of his activity within the scope of the bus stations. The guarantees provided by these companies must cover material and other damage caused by the movement of buses. Any damage caused by these companies will remain entirely at their expense and the repairs caused by this damage will be carried out by the Manager who will re-invoice the actual carrier to the concerned carrier.
The bus station is equipped with 10 bus platforms, including 3 for regional express transport and 15 regulation platforms. These platforms are exclusively designed for passenger pick-up and handling.
Access to the platforms is authorized five minutes before the recognition of travelers, except for regional express transport buses (ten minutes).
Buses with trailers are not allowed inside the bus station.
The manager and officers of the bus stations are responsible for maintaining public order and complying with internal regulations. They may, if necessary, call on the police to expel the person or persons who do not comply with the provisions of these regulations and of the legislation in force.
They can, when unlabeled baggage left unattended is found inside a bus station, activate the Vigipirate Plan.
Bus station users and transport company staff must strictly comply with any instructions, indications or notices given to them by the manager, either by posting or verbally through station staff.
In the event of non-compliance with these regulations, the station manager and agents are empowered to apply penalties for breaches duly notified to carriers:
A register is kept in each bus station to receive comments and suggestions from travelers and carriers concerning the operation of the station.
